About Us
"Baseball is 90% mental -- the other half is physical."
Yogi Berra, International Statesman.
Baseball Trend Mojo is a free service which tracks and analyzes the buzz
surrounding all Major League Baseball teams over the 2008 season.
We believe that the world of the web has changed: users know this, but the people
who run teams and sports companies do not always appreciate this. We hope that
Baseball Trend Mojo can show deeper insight into how user-generated content
provides significant insight into issues that baseball fans and teams care about.
Unlike other blog reporting services, we offer insight into what people are saying.
Two metrics we track on this site are:
- How favorable (or unfavorable) are the blog and group posts regarding the team or players.
- Whether these postings reflect feminine or masculine use of language in the way they are written.
We offer this information for free. The technology we use to do this is developing all the time,
so please bear with us as we learn, respond and grow.
We hope you find useful information on Baseball Trend Mojo. We cannot guarantee the accuracy
of trends and data that we display. In the old days we might have said that our information is
"For Your Amusement Only". It's free, and it's interesting. Enough said.

Baseball Trend Mojo is a privately funded initiative based in Menlo Park, California. We have
no financial affiliations to sports teams but our team members all have the right to attend games
and have a direct personal interest in whether teams live or die.
